Newly renovated, spacious (22m2 / 237ft2), warm, with excellent insulation and large windows to enjoy the scenery. Each one has been decorated with different and special elements of the area, such as looms and ethnic masks with furniture made by artisans from Patagonia.
One of the real pleasures when staying with us at Hotel Las Torres is dining in our restaurant.
Restaurant Coirón specializes in the “flavors of the end of the world” – a unique blend of modern, creative culinary methods and traditional regional dishes from Chilean Patagonia.
As much as possible, our chefs use fresh locally sourced products from our own estancias and organic garden, ingredients that literally go straight from the farm and ranch onto your plate. Lunch and dinner are a la cart, where the presentation of each dish is nothing short of perfection. Meat lovers and vegetarians are equally catered for in our Patagonia hotel.
What’s more, from our Patagonia hotel, opportunities to observe Patagonian wildlife abound. You don’t even have to step outside. Huge, glass windows surround the restaurant at Hotel Las Torres on all sides, making it easy to watch the happy habits of endemic birds and mammals that live just a few feet away from your table.
What could be classier on your Patagonia vacations than sipping on a well-shaken cocktail at Hotel Torres del Paine? Comfortable sofas, huge windows and the best regional cocktails on offer. This is Bar Pionero, the social hub of Hotel Las Torres where guests trade tales about their adventures that day.
Try a Calafate Sour, made from the fruit of the endemic Calafate bush, or order a Pisco Sour Pioneer, with a sprig of mint from Hotel Torres del Paine’s organic garden. The “Costumbres” or the ”Aborigen” – winner of the national tournament “Capel Puro Talento” in 2014 – are just two further options on offer as the night draws in on your Patagonia vacations.
But if that’s not enough to warrant a visit to Hotel Torres del Paine, let us present to you our homemade craft beer “Pionera”, brewed in a little cabin just outside Bar Pionero. Furthermore, don’t forget about our standard selection of regional and national wines, liqueurs and premium spirits. We also provide a range of sandwiches, snacks, salads, coffees and cakes. After a wonderful day exploring on your Patagonia vacation package, Bar Pionero is just the kind of relaxing experience you’ll desire.
Necessity truly is the mother of invention. When the Kusanovic took over the property in the 1970s, they immediately began growing their own herbs, fruits and vegetables, a tradition that continues today. The all-natural fertilizer used in our garden comes straight from the stables. Many of the ingredients found in our restaurant dishes and cocktails are grown right outside.
This segues into the Hotel Las Torres commitment to sustainable tourism, a long-term strategy to give both the lodge and ranch as small a footprint as possible within the national park.
A collection of elements from the Chilean nature come together to deliver treatments designed to revitalize.
The Spa Hotel Las Torres counts with hydro-massages, fango therapy, sauna, reflexology and massages that will revitalize the body, promote circulation, hydrate the skin and relax the muscles.
Right outside the reception you will see our gift shop where you will be able to find handcrafts of regional artists, silver and lapizlázuli jewelry, woolens, and many other Chilean products.
You will also find outdoor equipment, clothes, and other products of interest such as maps and fascinating books on regional flora and fauna.
If you are hiking and would like to by some groceries to take with you, please visit our Kiosk where you will be able to purchase everything from snacks and drinks to pharmacy products.
Estancia Cerro Paine’s stables are large enough to house 220 horses, the modern progeny of a tradition that stretches back more than 100 years. The first horses arrived in Patagonia in the early 16th century, Spanish ponies that the indigenous people soon learned to master. The spread of ranching into the southern parts of Chile and Argentina during the 19th century marked the birth of the baqueano culture that our own horsemen proudly display. Our horses also seem to carry a certain pride as they take guests on excursions around the lakeshore, into the mountains, or gallops across the pampas. If you are looking for great photo material, capture our baqueanos early in the morning bringing in a herd of horses from surrounding territories where they graze freely during the night.
Hotel Las Torres has a comfortable conference center with capacity for 150 people, ideal for product presentations, seminars or talks with the best environment that can deliver the Chilean Patagonia. At the same time, we also have an interactive museum with educational and entertaining information about the history and geography of the park. We invite all our guests to read, enjoy and learn about the wonderful place where is located our Hotel Las Torres.
We know that our hotel is literally located at a hidden corner of the planet, but reaching this natural paradise is not impossible. Hotel Las Torres offers transfers in vehicles for 9 people from Punta Arenas, Puerto Natales and Calafate (Argentina). This service is offered twice a day and is included for our guests with all-inclusive programs.
