Community

Schools
Each year, we invite students and staff of Paul Harris School to Torres del Paine for a week. Paul Harris is a school dedicated to children with mental disabilities from communities with low resources. We offer food and lodging, transport to and from Punta Arenas, and direct their activities while in Las Torres. We support sports in Puerto Natales schools through the donation of uniforms and transportation.

Coaniquem
During 2006, we donated 1,000 bags of glass to Coaniquem, achieving two aims: recycling and helping the institution that benefits burnt children.

Volunteer programs
With the support of AMA Torres del Paine, we have developed a volunteer program with various schools, universities and institutes. Volunteers have come from the U.K., Switzerland, the United States and Chile.

Participation in associations
We actively participate in the board of directors of the Austro Chile guild association, and through them, in the clean production comity. As representatives of the private sector, we are also part of the advisory board of CONAF.
